My brother got married on June 12. It was a great wedding and she is a great girl - welcome to the family Tonya :)
My mom catered the wedding. Mom is a master cook and she knows it. No body questions her in the kitchen, which made prepping for the wedding a bit interesting. I love how this picture shows everyone's emotions so clearly: Mom is indignant, Sarah wants to make sure she is right, Tonya has given over to giggles and Grace just thinks its hilarious.
Before the wedding I went and stayed with my sister and brother-in-law in central Iowa. Rebecca is their little farm girl and she can be very photogenic when she wants to be. We had just collected the eggs from the chickens and she insisted rubbing them on her face. I tried to explain that they had chicken poo on them but she wouldn't believe me.
Before the wedding, I spent a week in Nicaragua. It was like coming home. I have a feeling that Nicaragua will always have a special place in my heart. I thought this was a good idea for planters.
It rained the entire time - not just sprinkles every now and then, but torrential down pour for most of the day. But the day I left? Yep, it was sunny.
