School has started once again. The spring semester is on its way and I hate to admit, but I am almost done. After this semester I only have 1 class left to take at this wonderful institution. Right now my class load is 10 credits strong with 6 credits of auditing. I am really excited about these classes, mostly because the majority of them are electives and so I am taking what I want to take, not what I am required to take. The classes are small and filled with interesting people with crazy perspectives and I am sure to learn a lot. Man, I love it here - why can't I be one of those perpetual students?? Oh yeah, 2 words: Student. Loans. (stupid loans)
Work is taking off as well. I have built myself a schedule which is helpful since I am the type of person that works better with one than if I was left on my own. As leaders we are really starting to gain a better vision of what we hope to do and how we hope to impact our kids. It's humbling to think of how much we can impact our kids, for harm or for good. It's a thought that drives us to our knees at the start of our meetings.
So that is life right about now. Work and school, with some awesome volleyball on the side. It's been such a blessing to be able to play at an open gym in local community center. Its co-ed and so the net is pretty high, but surprisingly I still have some game left. Plus it is a great opportunity for me to interact with a non-Christian crowd, something I need more of (a hazard of growing up in a Christian bubble).
