Another semester and another school is done. Now I can check grad school off my bucket list...if I had such a list. Seminary was a wonderful experience and one that I wish was longer, but alas, the real world is calling. My roommates (pictured above) however, do not want to let myself or my other graduated roommate go - hence the hug. But really, we don't need an excuse like graduation to give a hug. Waking up in the morning or walking into a room is a good enough reason to give someone a hug.

None of my family made it out to watch me walk across the stage, which is par for the Pontier course. Yes, it would have been nice to have someone there, but my friends gave me a pretty good shout out when I got my master's hood and shook B-Chaps hand. In lieu of attending the graduation ceremony, my sister's came out to St Louis the following weekend to experience a bit of my life the last 2 years. We had a great time almost getting trampled by newly ordained priests, wading through the flooded Mississippi and finding big red oil drums to lift - it was a grand ole time.

Joelle, my other graduated roommate and I decided that since we have graduated from seminary we need to be serious all the time. Ministry is serious business and one must keep a serious face while doing ministry. In our 'Serious Ministry Face' class Joelle got a better grade because my serious face was often mistaken for a smirk. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to be content working in the nursery.
